Colonel J B Davies OBE DL, Joined the ACF an SI April 1971, commissioned in April 1973 he transferred to Dyfed as Commandant in September 2004 he rejoined Glamorgan as Commandant in September 2006. He was appointed Commandant of Dyfed and Glamorgan on its formation in 2009,He was presented with his 12 year service medal in April 1983, Clasp 1 - April 1991, Clasp 2 - April 1999, Clasp 3 - April 2005 and Clasp 4 April -2011 which was presented to him at annual camp by the Lord-Lieutenant of South Glamorgan.
